How to reach East Cambs
If you’re travelling here by car, main road routes serving East Cambs include the A10 and A142 (linking with the M11, A1 and A14).
The district is well served by railway. Ely has many direct rail connections, including with London Kings Cross, Stansted Airport and Birmingham. Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich, London and Bury St Edmund’s are all easily accessible by rail. Other stations in the district include: Kennett, Dullingham, Newmarket, Littleport & Soham.
East Cambs is within easy reach by road or rail from Stansted. You can travel from Stansted Airport to Ely direct by train in under an hour.
