National Horseracing Museum: Wander through the Trainer's House and the beautiful King’s Yard Galleries to learn about the Sport of Kings from its origins here in Newmarket in the 17th century right through to the global billion-dollar industry it is today. Retraining of Racehorses: Located in the Rothschild Yard and beyond, meet racing’s equine heroes. For the first time, these majestic racehorses can be seen daily in “behind the scenes tours” at 11.00am and 2.30pm. Find out how these horses can be retrained for successful new lives after their wonderful careers on the racetrack.
With a rolling and diverse programme of temporary exhibitions, daily displays from the RoR horses, school holiday activities plus a restaurant and shop on site, this is a truly great day out.
