The Merry Monk
Tucked away in the Cambridgeshire fens, The Merry Monk in Isleham started life as three cottages in the 17th Century and from there became The Red Lion Public House until 1992 when it was renamed The Merry Monk. Roaring log fires for cosiness during the winter months and a garden rounding off a gorgeous country restaurant and bar offer perfection for enjoyment throughout the year... our focus at the Merry Monk is a casual and inviting atmosphere. From light Meals at the bar to the A la carte Menu, weddings, private parties, drinks, tea and coffee and a selection of wine by the glass are all served throughout the day. Make the most of your weekend by enjoying a traditional Sunday roast cooked to perfection by our team of chefs. The food we serve can be described as being the sort that you really want to eat, tempting but familiar with a slight twist.
