A major crowd pleaser is the amazing Raft Race at the annual Aquafest on the River Ouse. With numerous decorated rafts, everyone enters into the spirit of the day and fun is had by all.

Haddenham Beer Fest

Haddenham Beer Festival is held on the first weekend in July with live entertainment, food and lots of great local beer and cider. It’s a village party and everyone’s welcome!

If horse-riding is your thing, during the summer Old Tiger Stables, in Soham often run in-house courses for children and adults, including stable management, dressage and show jumping as well as lessons for complete beginners.

This little gem is on our doorstep. Lidgate Farm, just outside of Isleham, offers ‘pick your own’ wonderfully fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants during the summer. Pay for what you pick.

Sutton Picnic in the Park

A guided summer walk is a great way to see the sights. Starting at Oliver Cromwell’s House, you’ll have the choice of a captivating riverside or city tour provided by an experienced guide.

Towards the end of the summer, there’s Picnic in the Park in Sutton with live music, fireworks display and lots to entertain the family.

Or how about seeing some big-name pop acts at the legendary Newmarket Nights at Newmarket Racecourses? Live after the racing during the summer, you can enjoy unique evenings of concerts in this incredible and beautiful setting.
