Ely Market’s Foodie Friday
Date: April – August
Location: Ely
On the last Friday of each month, Ely Market transforms into a buzzing hub of flavour and fun for Foodie Friday. Tuck into a mouth-watering mix of street food from local favourites and exciting new vendors, all served up alongside live music and laid-back entertainment. Whether you’re catching up with friends or bringing the whole family, it’s the perfect way to kick-start your weekend.


Chippenham Gardens Open Gardens
Date: 8th-15th June
Location: Chippenham Park Gardens
Experience Chippenham Park Gardens in full bloom. The garden’s summer opening is the perfect opportunity to soak in the glorious scent of roses and admire the vibrant display of flowers across the formal and informal gardens. Explore over 35 acres of stunning formal and informal gardens, borders, lakes, woodland walks, and sculptures.
Once you’ve soaked in the sites of the gardens, head to their cafe to enjoy a delicious selection of light bites, fresh soups, and local sausage rolls. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy views.
Entry is £10 for Adults, £3 for Children ages 5-16 years
Haddenham Village Fete
A classic village fête with a feel-good atmosphere and something for everyone. Expect all the much-loved favourites—bouncy castles, open gardens, classic cars, and a Pimm’s tent—plus some new attractions to discover. There’s even a grand prize draw!
It’s a lovely way to spend a summer afternoon and helps raise vital funds for local good causes.
Ely Arts Festival
Date: 14th – 28th June
Location: Ely
Ely Arts Festival aims to provide a fun, creative and diverse programme of cultural events and activities in Ely and the surrounding villages.
This much-loved festival brings two weeks of music, theatre, workshops and family-friendly events to Ely and beyond. From hands-on craft sessions and musical performances to community-created exhibitions and free events, it’s a celebration of local creativity, community and culture.

Made in the Fens – Arts and Crafts Fete
Date: June 21 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Burwell Museum & Windmill
The Made in the Fens – Arts and Crafts Fete showcases local workmanship and artistry with workshops, talks and interactive sessions.
Meet local makers, creatives and craftspeople at this special event at Burwell Museum. Expect handmade wares, tasty local treats, and hands-on workshops and talks throughout the day.
You’ll also get to see ‘Will of Steel’—the museum’s resident blacksmith—at work in the forge, using traditional tools and techniques passed down through generations.
