Anglesey Abbey

This welcoming and elegant house and its gardens have something new to offer each season. You can discover Lord Fairhaven’s extensive collection and find out how we care for it, then explore the domestic wing to see how the staff serving him ran his household like clockwork. The nationally celebrated gardens, with sweeping avenues, classical statuary and flower borders offer captivating views, vibrant colours and delicious scents throughout the year. Children can play, explore and discover nature in the Wildlife Discovery Area.

A visit to the historic working watermill on beautiful Quy Water will complete your day. Enjoy a cup of tea and cake, hot meal or sandwich in Redwoods restaurant all year round with snacks and drinks in the gardens during peak times. Take a memento home with you in the shop or plant centre, selling local products and gifts. Freshly milled wholemeal flour is available from the historic watermill.
