The Prince Albert

A ‘back street pub’ hidden away on Silver Street in Ely, once an officer’s mess, The Prince Albert has always been known for the high standards of its beer and over the last six years has earned a great reputation for food. We work to a simple formula – good beer and good food in a friendly, comfortable environment. To keep our real ale customers happy, we have 10 cask ales/ciders on offer, six of which are rotated regularly. We also hold an annual beer festival in the substantial garden on the weekend after the August Bank Holiday. There is a cosy restaurant to the rear of the pub as well as a bar area where visitors can eat. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and we do have our regulars! Sunday lunches are particularly lively with a good crowd of both eaters and drinkers and we still hold a traditional Sunday raffle.

The restaurant holds up to 40 people and looks out onto the long, well established garden. All of our food is prepared from fresh so allergies and dietary requirements are easy to cater for.
